Position Description:

Want to join an exciting team that focuses on increasing athlete's speed and agility? Don Beebe is known as one of the fastest players in NFL history who famously ran down Leon Lett in Super Bowl XXVII to prevent a touchdown.  Our mission is building character through sports. We train athletes from the ages 8 and up. We focus on increasing an athlete's speed, agility, and explosiveness. House of Speed provides general and sport specific speed camps year round. Our current location is Soccer City in Palatine with a second location planned for opening in the Fall.


Job Description:

Once trained, responsible for executing House of Speed's NEW method of drills. 
Responsible for designing training plans for the 2 hour general training sessions. 
Responsible for leading 10-15 athletes through drills for 2 hours. 
Responsible for timing athletes in up to 10 drills for uploading to MySpeed. 
Proficient in using Dartfish software to analyze and review athlete's running form. 
Provide feedback to athletes through the use of the Dartfish tool. 
Comfortable with evangelizing the benefits of House of Speed to athletes and their parents. 




Job Requirements

Looking for men and women with college or professional level experience playing a sport.

A college degree in athletic or nutrition related field a plus. 
Lives or works in the north shore or northwest suburbs of Chicago. We will be opening up future locations in these areas. 
Great attitude around kids and young adults.

Genuine interest in helping young athletes succeed.
Available for part-time work after school and on weekends. 
Attend a 2-5 day training class in Aurora (No cost to you) in June or August.

Shadow existing trainers at speed clinics followed by passing a written test before being able to train athletes

 

Benefits

Compensation (Part-time): 

$20/hr (first 6 months) 
$25/hr (after 6 months) 
Additional compensation negotiable based on experience 
Revenue sharing on private team training referrals
