Job Description

Position Description:

Want to join an exciting team that focuses on increasing athlete's speed and agility? Don Beebe is known as one of the fastest players in NFL history who famously ran down Leon Lett in Super Bowl XXVII to prevent a touchdown.  Our mission is building character through sports. We can make any athlete faster, but we need high quality trainers to make it happen. Visit www.houseofspeed.com to learn more about our company. 

We train athletes from the ages 8 and up. We focus on increasing an athlete's speed, agility, and explosiveness. House of Speed provides general and sport specific speed camps year round. Our current location is Soccer City in Palatine with a second location planned for opening in the Fall.


Job Description:

Once trained, responsible for executing House of Speed's NEW method of drills. 
Responsible for designing training plans for the 2 hour general training sessions. 
Responsible for leading 10-15 athletes through drills for 2 hours. 
Responsible for timing athletes in up to 10 drills for uploading to MySpeed. 
Proficient in using Dartfish software to analyze and review athlete's running form. 
Provide feedback to athletes through the use of the Dartfish tool. 
Comfortable with evangelizing the benefits of House of Speed to athletes and their parents. 




Job Requirements

Looking for men and women with college or professional level experience playing a sport.

A college degree in athletic or nutrition related field a plus. 
Lives or works in the north shore or northwest suburbs of Chicago. We will be opening up future locations in these areas. 
Great attitude around kids and young adults.

Genuine interest in helping young athletes succeed.
Available for part-time work after school and on weekends. 
Attend a 2-5 day training class in Aurora (No cost to you) in June or August.

Shadow existing trainers at speed clinics followed by passing a written test before being able to train athletes

 

Benefits

Compensation (Part-time): 

$20/hr (first 6 months) 
$25/hr (after 6 months) 
Additional compensation negotiable based on experience 
Revenue sharing on private team training referrals 
Access to special deals and programs through our other partners - Cal Ripken Baseball, RecruitU2, Princeton Review, Kohl's Professional Camps

Job Description

Works independently to sell Biomet Medical Device products to account base in a defined territory. Achieves assigned quota by taking a consultative approach to selling. Focuses on the development of relationships at all levels of the organization, listening to customer needs and providing product solutions and customer service that exceeds their expectations.
1. Responsible for calling on Orthopedic offices in defined territory (Louisville, Glasgow and Bowling Green)
2. Develops and implements business plans to close identified business.
3. Responsible for keeping the Regional Sales Manager informed of all sales related activity, market trends, and competitor activity within the territory.
4. Participates in sales workshops, sales meetings, and/or promotional activities as requested by Regional Sales Manager.
5. Provides customer base with excellent post-sale follow up (in-service t raining and product repairs).
6. Pursues new business opportunities, new markets and acquisitions, as necessary.
7. Coordinates efforts with all departments to insure effective integration of sales orders. 
8. Accountable for all record-keeping as appropriate and in accordance with Biomet specifications.
9. Utilizes proper software and technological tools to maintain proper records.
10. Work hours may vary depending upon the needs of the customers.
